I need some help putting my carb back on. I took it off a few months ago for some cleaning a few months ago and when I was putting it back in today I couldn't remember where all of the lines go.

Btw I also ended up doing an ear shave.
I've been looking for pictures to help me get an idea of where everything goes, but with no luck.

Does anyone have a picture of the setup so I can use it as a guide?
I don't even know which hoses are vacuum and which are gas.

Thanks

there's only 2 hoses for vacuum. they're the small ones. left one goes to the fuel valve or petcock, and the right goes to the air valve under the seat, if you still have that emissions stuff, or it can be plugged. there are 4 larger nipples - 2 for fuel lines from the petcock, and 2 for vents (usually the 2 vent one's join into one by a plastic connector close to the carb assembly ) and are fairly close together. the fuel line ones are most likely plastic and farther apart. careful, they've been known to crack and break. run your vent line up under your tank to the plastic cover on the fuel sender. there should be a dummy nipple on the cover and using that it will keep the line up out of the way and you shouldn't have any problerms

Got some pictures in a Carb album. Check them out....Make sure choke linkage is attached and working properly. Also hook up both throttle cables before re-installing. Then reattach the the choke cable after you get them in position. Way easier to install throttle cables while the carbs are off bike. It is possible to get them hooked up while on the bike.....but you will use every bad word in the book.
