OK this is how "cheap" I am.Thought spending $100-$300 for a "trunk" was crazy...so I whent to a popular dump spot, spied a ol plastic tool case (Nail gun?Circular saw?Dunno.) hollowed out the unwanted bits..actually made a pretty cool "normal" lookin trunk!!What say ye!!:motorcycl

Nothing new, but good you're thinking. Many have made "trunks" or what are usually called "tail cases" from assorted containers. Those Pelican waterproof cases make great tail cases.

The strangest I've seen is someone who made one from an old canister vacuum cleaner.

Hey, its not 'cheap'.. its 'repurposed'. Which in my opinion... is better than cheap.
Saving the planet with unnecessary landfill..etc etc..

Repurpose on brother... repurpose on!

Posted under trunk/rack bulid but thought I'd put the outcome here too...comes from a Circular Saw case, painted added reflectors, built a rack to hold it.Will carry @20lbs I figure.
