Hey just wanting to see if anyone out there has gone in to the wiring and gotten rid of a lot of unecessary wires, I am wanting to just run the bare minimum that i have to, like headlight, taillight, starter, etc. If anyone has pictures or any input on cleaning up and getting rid of some electrical please reply, Thanks!

Im wondering what exactly you want to get rid of as far as whats not gonna work on the bike now cuz I removed the wires. Did that make sense? Is there extra stuff on the bike? I dont know, but seems to me there are no extra wires. I would think it would take a good bit of modification of stuff if you were to start removing wires. I know that going with a Mosfet R/R you keep the stator wires and the other 3 are not needed, however there spliced into the harnes in other places and those splices would have to remain untouched unless you wanted to remove the leg to the R/R and keep the splice intact or resplice. Interesting question though.

There is about a mile worth of unneeded wires... the Reserve Lighting Unit, Redudant Ignition circuits, ummm... the list goes on and on and on... you can simplify the whole circuitry to Lights, Charging, and Ignition System (starter wiring is in the Ignition Circuit) Ohh an one more thing.. getting rid of the Junction Box is a MUST... the factory fuse box is garbage. do yourself a favor and get three automotive relays, and a 5 circuit Fuse box, and wire up your own JB
