Hi All,

It was a disappointment to see my wife wreck her bike last night. She hit a patch of gravel on a turn and went down hard. She broke her left leg above the ankle and has a 4 inch gash above her left knee cap. It was quite an ugly sight to see as we could see her bone. After 2 1/2 hrs at the emergency care and stitches in her knee...a temp cast on her leg... a tetnis shot...antibiotics...and now her flat on her back resting at home...she will recover in time. She was having such a great ride too. I took pics of her as she was talking to her son on the phone and she looks like she's having a great time (it's the drugs) and today she's moving very slowly and not smiling like last night.

I just did have time to go out in the garage and look at her bike and here are the parts we hope to buy if anyone has them. She has a 1994 750.

1. Clutch lever
2. Front and rear turn signals
3. Head light
4. Handle Bars
5. Left side exhaust

Thanks all and please...be safe out there!

I believe I have an extra clutch lever. I am concerned about the handlebars though. If the bike (and she) went down hard enough to bend the handlebars you might be looking at bent forks too.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for her. And the bike..

Thank you Dianna!

I did look at the forks and I cannot "see" any distortment in them. I have not had time to take her bike for a ride to see if it handles any differently. I actually want to take more time to look it over before I do that. When I looked at her handlebars I could see any bending or distortment...but she had remarked that the bike felt different when she climbed on it and rode it home. Since her windshield was destroyed and only parts of it were hanging onto the handlebars...I thought it was more of a visual thing as the shield was broken and gave a sense of things being really out of whack.

Guess I should ask too.. Are the levers stock or chrome? Also.. what about the mirror? Did it make it through ok?
