Where I've been

How do I start this off?

Well hello guys. I know I've been gone for a long time and sadly this post is only for two things one to let you guys know what's happened and why I've not been here.

As Mike knows. I deal with major depression with manic episodes. Well back last year around Sept/Oct things caught up with me and I have been in a major down spell since thing. At the end of Oct. I lost my job because of it, I went from making around $4000 - $5000 a month to nothing over night. I was always the person that was helping people out and didn't value money for what it could do for me as much as what it could do to help people. As long as my needs were met I was ok.

After everything went down I realized it was time for me to restart filing for disability which I was originally supposed to have been on when I was 17 but backed out because I didn't want to admit I needed help. Now I realize that I have to humble myself and accept that I should reapply so that's what I'm currently in the process of doing.

With all of that being said I have missed you guys, but just haven't been able to be around.

Now here is the sad reality. I've finally ran out of what money I had saved and still no source of income and am currently facing eviction in 8 days. So this leaves me looking at a new chapter in my life.

As some of you know I am also a performance poet and have toured in the past. I was able to support myself doing so. So my plan is to live full-time on the road, I just need to trade or sell my bike my trailer and my SUV for a RV. I'm looking for a Class B style RV as it's small enough I could park anywhere and use as a daily driver since I would be on the road all the time and would need to do a lot of parking lot camping. So yeah looking for a Class B camper van style.

I do hate to get rid of my baby, but I know this will be the best option for me to survive and not be homeless as I will be able to take my home with me :D

People always say think of a time when you were the most happiest and well for me those times have always been when I was on tour.

If you do know anyone who might be interested in a trade or to buy I would need to be able to make sure if I sell it's enough to cover getting the camper. I have found one that I could easily buy if I can sell my bike.

Anyway I do have mad love for you all, and sorry I've not been around, hope you understand.

Sorry to hear about your health issues and that is what it is,whether or not people accept it as that. I kinda wondered where you had been but on the other hand figured you would let us know if and when you needed to.

I'd help you out if I could but sounds like you have a plan for a do over which is a good start and the knowledge that you have to deal with your issues. A lot of people never make it to that point. I believe you are headed in the right direction and things will surely get better for you. Not sure where you stand on the power of prayers but you will be in mine. Denny

Thank you so much Denny :) Yeah I just need to either sell or trade my bike to get the next phase of my life going, I'm hoping that can happen fairly quickly. I actually am even willing to throw in everything I have for the bike including the trailer as well as my SUV for the right camper. So if you know anyone think of me

I'm glad you checked in as I was wondering if you had moved on to bigger and better things. Yes, it's great to have a plan and this is the perfect time of year to make such a move. If I can suggest you post pictures of everything as well as making yourself available at a specific number.

I'm sure you've checked craigslist as I've done so just yesterday. There are deals out there as long as you have a mechanic to follow up with you. I'm in Autodesk Inventor as I type this designing a "Small House" for my class to build out of balsa. My plan would be to buy a 24' trailer and build a traveling home. All this while trying to work on my masters and hold down a couple jobs as I also also struggle with depression. Some days are pure hell. You have a gift and can accomplish anything. I wish you the best and my prayers are with you.

That sounds like and awesome plan, and yes I've got it posted on Craigslist. where are you suggesting I post pictures, and are you talking about my bike?

Great post on Craigslist! With prices as they are on Class 'B' campers I would try and post a picture of the Explorer as I don't know if you will get any trade offers for just the bike and trailer. They are sweet looking!

While your situation is what it is I would share lots more pictures of the bike with anecdotes of great rides and dependability. Post pictures here as well and on the other Vulcan forums out there. Even hit up Yahoo groups.

I understand your issues as I have anxiety issues myself.take things a day at a time and remember the switch is in you and if ya figure out how you can shut it on or off,if ya know what I mean.sounds like the road will be good for you,as it seems to keep ya in line.good luck with it,sister.I was wondering about you the other day and am glad to hear from ya.keep in touch if ya can with us.always remember you are human and can fall back on others for support.I'm sending you some positive energy,sister.you've got a big heart and NEVER forget that.the universe never forgets...

Thanks I have posted a new list, I did hit up a group on facebook as well, thought I had someone who was interested in buying it, but seems they have vanished.

Not sure of any Yahoo groups to post in.

Oh I know Mike, I actually thought I had it sold today, but the guy just vanished it was weird, as in his comments were gone on the post
