That's cool...but what does it have to do with his question?

On a related note I have used them with no troubles.

If that was a link to ALL BALLS bearings, they are good bearings.

I'm pretty sure that's what is wrong. there is some free play when i move the front wheel. probably 1/8 of an inch at the axle.

With all the mining down that way, there's no bearing shop?

I just go to Bearing Distributors here. If they can't read the numbers on the bearing, they just measure it and hand me what I need. As long as I have the inner and outer pieces, they fix me up. I was getting quad axle bearings for $12 while the dealers were pricing them at $100.

I do see a lot of the sets you linked on Ebay though.

We had Bearings Inc for a lot of years, as soon as they closed the other one opened up. I get all my bearings there, mower decks, any vehicle, they have one to match.

I rebuilt a whole mower deck for a fraction of what the mower shop wanted for just the bearings in one spindle.

All Balls sells quality bearings. Their kits typically have everything you need (bearings oil/dust seals) I've never had any issues with them.

I ordered front wheel bearings from our local Kaw dealer and when they came in it was the ALL BALLS brand. They recommend them.

Nope. You'll have to do one side, then flip the wheel over. They each come out their own side. I however don't recall which side is easier to do first.
