I think I will go the used motor route instead of rebuilding mine. What motors will fit these frames? I did find a kick a$$ 1100 Kawasaki motor, will it fit??? Anyone else here do any motor swaps to a different size? Let me know what can be done and how much modifying it takes. What motors used this same 750 frame? Thanks!

I could use some new heads if I do go the rebuild route so if you have a good set laying around, let me know.

u put the zip ties in the right places and they may hold that 1100 in there lol im prestty sure u are stuck with a vn700 or vn750 all from 83-05

I believe your just stuck with the 750 in your frame.

Whats wrong with the Heads on yours? If you go the rebuild route these might help.

Anything else depends on your tool collection, skills, patience, determination, and wallet.

I don't recall seeing anybody come through here in the last year who has shoe-horned something else into one of these bikes.

Thought maybe someone around here had put a VN800, 900, or something like that into their 750 frame. Maybe it's not even possible, it's a wrestling match getting the stock motor in. Thanks for the rebuild links and let me know if anyone runs across some info or a good motor. Thanks for reading.

by the time u convert the drive shaft the veriables are endless im sure u could weld something in there but conecting it to the rear wheel sounds like mass work... fix the one and sell it if ya want something bigger

I recall somebody here has a vn750 that was bored out to take a pair of Suzuki 850 pistons. Sorry but don`t remember who it is though.
