I used Electrex and purchased it thru Bike Bandit although, it could probably be bought someplace else for less. The Kawasaki OEM is around $350 and Electrex is around $150, so you decide. I'm not sure if I like the Electrex since I already lost a battery after 6 months post-stator change. It doesn't seem to charge over 13.8V, so I recently (last week) sent back my regulator to Electrex under warranty (8 months old), so maybe the next one will do better. The "Fused Stator" line is about putting a 20 amp fuse inline in each of your 3 stator wires going to the regulator under the theory that should your regulator go (or some other unforseen voltage surge happen) this will protect the stator from frying. I hope that works because I did that with mine and like I said my first battery after the change has already gone south.....possibly starting the stator's life in a downward trend. Good luck with your replacement, it's real fun......read all the notes about the replacement and study the manual real good before the attempt and everything will most likely work out fine.
