Anyone know what to do about water standing in the rear right spark plug whole? it getting to be a real problem the plug is fouling, the whole is filling with rust. seems like if i park on the kickstand the lean of the bike allows rain to get in the whole and stand. in suggestions, besides using the center stand LOL

Im guessing you park your bike outside, so how about a bike cover?

on the back of the engine near the exhaust manifold there is a small hole

that hole is the drain for the spark plug tube and is probably clogged up

jab at it with a small pick and open the passage up maybe even some wd 40 and compressed air when it is clear you should be able to pour water in the sparkplug tube and watch it drain off the back of the engine

There has to be a drain hole that is clogged up. Try compreesed air and blow out the dirt and build up around plug.

Your weep hole must be plugged. There is actually a drain hole in there that is supposed to allow any water or heaven forbid oil to drain out.
I had encountered this myself a few years back as I found one of the O-rings to the spark plug well was letting oil in there & was leaking out the weep hole.
I would clean out the excessive water & first with an air line blow in there to try & break the blockage free. if this doesn't work, go at it from the other side & blow into the well.

This pic is of the front one but the rear is similar, just on the other side. ;)

well after a lot of looking and a trip to the kaw shop 20 miles away, there is no drain hole. i pulled the plug just to be sure there is no hole inside the spark plug chamber.. i'm going to find a spark plug cap to cover the plug chamber
