Hey guys, I made this sheet about a week before I bought my bike.

I used a Torque vs RPM Dyno chart I found on this forum to plot the acceleration force vs RPM per gear, and acceleration force vs speed per gear.

In the force vs speed per gear chart, you can see that a stock bike's best shift point for maximum acceleration is right at 8,500 redline. Below that, there's more power still available. Above that the torque is falling off and provides no benefit. Kawasaki did excellent engine to gear ratio matching!

Again, this is for a stock bike. Reducing the intake and exhaust restriction may push the optimal shift point up to 9,000 for those willing to over-rev. I don't have a dyno chart to back that up.

There's also a speed vs RPM for each gear.

I also included a chart that shows the RPM drop. However, my math is not correct on that!:frown2:
