Here is link to Chuck A.'s album on what he did: http://www.vn750.com/forum/album.php?albumid=422 His might be more involved just because of adding the back rest, but he does show something on there about the front mount as well. I have seen a couple of different approaches on here as to how to do the rear mount.

Thanks. I just got my old mans cruiser back from my cousin who had it for about 14yrs sitting in a garage. It has my dads original 4k miles on it and needs minor things but I want to make it more to my liking. My dad bought it new off the show room floor in the crate still in 86.
