Since finding aftermarket parts for my VN700 are few and far between and limited, will an aftermarket exhaust for a VN750 bolt right up? Will other 750 parts work on a 700?

Damn near everything from the 750's will fit the 700's (from what I've read).

The 700 was only a 700 for one year - and only in the US (to undercut tarriffs) - so there wasn't a lot not made the same...

I'll be able to say for sure shortly whether or not a stock 750 exhaust will bolt right up - but I can't see there being any issues.

The stock exhaust is the same for the 700 and 750. About the only parts that aren't interchangeable are the connecting rods in the engine and the newer style master brake cylinder and lines from the early 90's bikes. Even my cams are stamped VN700. All they did to add the 50cc's was to make the engine have a longer stroke hence the longer con rods. For all I know, even they could be swapped to make the 700 a closet 750. Edalbris or Ozkaw would know better than myself about that though.
