I have been riding for 44 yrs. and now it is time to call it quits. Due to back injury (not related to motorcycles) The joy of riding no longer over rides the pain. So I am reluctantly selling my MC. Got a couple questions for ya about the bike....

Do ya happen to have any pictures ?

Is the trailer for the bike to pull, or for the bike to be hauled on ?

Do you think the bike will need the Final Drive Gear Assembly replaced soon ?

Hyperbuzzin, I do not have any pictures of the bike, I don't even own a camera. The bike is in very good condition. (2) I use the trailer to haul the bike on. I live in South Carolina and spend the summer in Ohio I transport the bike back and forth. the trailer accepts 2" ball and will carry up to a 1000 pounds. (3) There is nothing wrong with gear assembly on the bike, when I lubed it I pulled the swing arm and lubed front and rear splines, it showed no signs of wear or rust. I bought the spare gear assembly just as an insurance policy. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions post here I read forum a couple times a day. I dont know if this bike is still available but I sent the ad on to a friend who is looking for a VN750. I've ridden my bike to Conneaut/Pierpont/Ashtabula Ohio and it's less than 2 hours ride for me. My older sisters (twins) live there!

8-17-06 Bike is still available. I wiil post either sold, or no longer available when it is off the market it is not listed anywhere but on this forum. Also on 8-8-06 I changed oil and filter Shell Rotella, cleaned air filters, On 8-17-06 I installed tires frt. and rear dunlops 404s and the price is still the same $ 3600.00.

The specs. state that the bike is metallic dark bronze/ metallic gray stone. I thought it was black/ gray.

Well I have the cycle back in South Carolina, 2001 vn750 9800 miles, new dunlop 404s frt. and rear. recent oil and filter change, cleaned and oiled air filters, maint free battery, splines greased frt and rear,fresh gear oil in rear end, memphis shades fats w/shield, saddle bag supports, leather saddlebags, turn signals relocated frt. and rear. extra set of air filters foam and retainers, extra oil filter, set of spark plugs. Bike is black and silver in very good shape never dropped. $2700.00
