I have mobil 1 synthetic grease, says it for ujoints, suspension, wheel bearings. Is this ok?

Yes, and no. It will work, but you'll need to reapply it every 1500 miles. You need to use a high moly (molybdenum) grease if you don't want to check your splines that often.

White lithium grease for the front under the rubber cup. The part you show is as Spockster said.

No, that grease is no good for the splines even if reapplied every day. It will help, but it will still wear prematurely. There are tremendous forces at work on a small area in cardan drives, and it takes a special type of compound to prevent wear--in this case, they use one that lubricates steel at forces beyond the yielding strength of any metal known to man, because reasons.

Spec is MoS2, I believe 40% or greater. Honda Moly-60 or any other brand is fine. I make my own thicker paste with Molykote Z and whatever oil is handy. Stays in place on the splines better.
