Greetings,
Does anyone have a set of TourMaster Crusier 3 slant saddle bags on their motorcycle? I am thinking of getting a set of these, XL size. Are they too big? All comments welcome.

I've got a set of TourMaster slants and T-bag on my '87. I'm not sure if they are the 3 series, but I will send pics and dimensions in a bit. ~ Uncle Dave

My Tourmaster slant bags measure 15" x 10" x 6".

I believe the X-Large Cruiser III's measure 18.5" x 17.2" x 14.2", and the Large Cruiser III's measure 18" x 10.2" x 7.9".

I use them as throw-overs with no saddle brackets. They just lay on top of the shocks.

Since i installed aftermarket turn signals, in the original mounting holes, I did not have to use any relocation brackets.

I am including pics for placement reference for the size I chose.

XL Nylon Cruiser 3 slant bags I am looking at measure:
18.5 inch long, relocating the turn signal is required.
11.5 inches high, plenty of room above the tailpipe
8 inches deep, which is really the measurement from the outside edge to the inside edge along the seat. I had a set of the mediums but felt they were too small.

They look very nice on your ride. I hope I am not making a mistake going with the nylon version.

I'm no expert, but I think those dimensions (with relocation kit) should be fine. You are right, too...plenty of headroom above the pipes with that height. Should look good at that size, too. Cheers.

Uncle_Dave: I am quite interested in your sissy bar bag. I can't seem to find it anywhere though.
