I got mine vn750 over half a year ago but was already experiencing problems with the battery back then. Hadn't really looked at it until today I decided to do some tests. I also did replace the battery since then but same result.

Testing at the battery would only give ~12-12.3 dc even at 5k, barely noticing any increase as I was revving. So next thing I tested are the three yellow cables coming from the stator in the order I see being mentioned in other threads, AB,AC and BC.

ohms - vac at idle - vac at 4k
AB - 0.3 ohms - 15 vac - 54 vac
AC - 0.2 ohms - 3 vac - 6 vac
BC - 0.3 ohms - 16 vac - 60 vac

So it's clear that my stator isn't in good condition, but would that give me such a low output at the battery? Or could it also be the r/r?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, one leg is dying/dead. Without all 3 legs working, the 3-phase power going from the stator to the R/R is probably not strong enough to actually be rectified and used to charge the battery. Looks pretty definitively to be a stator failure, unfortunately. Have you pulled the side cover to inspect it?
