Hello, I've been working on my project 95 750 lately. I've noticed when I try to start the bike a clicking sound starts coming from underneath the seat. I'm assuming this piece is the starter solenoid? My battery is good and I've checked the voltage on it. I just wanted to verify it's the right part that would make that kind of noise when it goes bad.

Thanks for your help.

starter solenoid is behind the right side cover, and yes kinda under the seat.

load test the battery, if it hasnt been done yet. if its too weak, you will get just a click.

bad starter can cause that as well (cheaply rebuildable).

last but not least, there is a relay in the junction box that can cause it as well, and it can be bypassed (look up 2 wire mod).
