I'm more interested in the "engine guard or highway pegs support bracket" as seen in Pic 2 above. And the rear roll-over bars or crash bars or whatever. The rear bars will not fit my current saddlebags I don't believe and I have no need for the highway peg setup seen above in the pic but I have never heard anyone ever talk about them.

Folks talk about the fairing but not the highway peg thing. Was that also factory?

Well, now you're making me put on my way-back memory cap, and it's a bit worn. The highway pegs and mounting bracket are not Kawasaki items. I forget the brand of the "engine guard" (I think we called them "highway bars" back in the day) but the pegs are some Kuryakyn part. I also had to get some sort of extenders, I believe from Drag Specialties. I also mounted some driving lights there. As you can see in the next picture, I had to fabricate a tiny little bracket to tip the bars forward in order to clear the "lowers" part of the fairing.

There are more pics at the links in my sig.

Factory fairing was the bomb! I had my own Givi bags, with the factory dresser bars, touring fender, and floorboards. (And a nice license plate!)

Man, I miss that bike!!!!

That was/is called a "Mustache" bar. I have only seen them on two VN750's. Pic's, as pictured above and Firetire2's VN750. try as I might, I couldn't get Firetire2, to part with his. I really don't blame him. those things are like hen's teeth.
I'm not sure if they were a Kawasaki or aftermarket item. either way, good luck finding one.

I just wondered. Seeing other pics of 750s with the factory fairing and such didn't bring to mind seeing any highway peg setup but this pic did stand out to me. Therefore the question about if it was factory.

Not is the answer. Thanks.
