Hello everyone,
I am thinking of selling my 2006 vn750 vulcan. It is a beautiful bike, just a little to small for me. I am 6-1 and 220lbs so I would like to get a 1500 vulcan.
My bike is in excellent condition with 10,200 miles. It is completely stock. Only has the jet enrichment plugs removed so I could richen it up a tad for better idle. It worked perfectly. The bike rides like a dream, and looks like one to.
It is located in Mobile Alabama. If anyone is interested let me know.
Thanks
P.S. This is a great site

Would like to get $3000.00 for it.
Thanks

You don't say in your post what you are asking for the bike.....:(

Also, some pix posted here of the bike (on both sides, along with front and back) would help a lot.

Has the bike been down, or dropped? If so, on what side? What was repaired or replaced (if anything)?

Tell us if you've lubed the bike's driveshaft splines (or had it done), and how long ago (i.e., approx mileage then).

How new are your tires? What brand/model are they? What is their tread depth/condition? If the tires are original, say so, too.

Does the bike come with a windshield? What else comes with the bike (e.g., spare keys, owner's manual, repair manual, maintenance receipts, lock/chain that sold new with the bike, any spare parts, bike cover, etc)?

Thanks...!

I'm 6'2" and 320 pounds... Bike's plenty big enough for me. *grin*

I wouldn't mind *also* having a 1500+ for long trips though...

Try not to let CC's fool you. The bikes are apples and oranges in comparison.
You might just be disappointed, instead of impressed with the change.
I had a Meanie and the same year VN750 at the same time and ended
up selling the Meanie. Best decision I ever made.
A Protac backrest does wonders for the 750, and dropping
a few pounds never hurt anyone. I'm 6-1 and was 222 last year. I'm down to 180
now and have never felt better. If you end up selling it in the 2k's, you gave up a
great bike for all the wrong reasons.

This is opinion and that's cool every one has one,I sold my 750 and bought a 1500 Classic FI,I am only 5' 6" and well over 285.

I liked my 750 but would not trade back. The factory floorboards and the lower rpm's on the highway, along with the room the 1500 offers makes it a much smoother ride ,the Meanie is more of a sporty ride than the Classic, but a little tweaking here and there on mine and it runs plenty fast ,it will fly past 100 in 4th gear and I have no Idea what the top speed is,The 750 was quick but the 1500 is fast.If I could have kept it, I would have,But I am well satisfied with my 1500 and think if you are wanting to go big ,it is a good choice,But that is one sweet looking 750.:smiley_th

Denny's right about everyone having a different opinion. I sold my VN750, because it was too small for me. I'm 6' and weigh 185, but have long legs. I was always cramped. I rode 2-up often, and it was way too crowded for that. You would not believe how much more comfortable a larger cruiser is until you get on one, and have a passenger on behind you and not pushing you into the gas tank. Plus, I got a great deal on my VN1600. I'm also getting about the same gas mileage as I did with the 750 (on the highway).

^ X1500 :smiley_th I loved my VN750 but much prefer the meanie. Feet out on the swingwings or up on the engine guard, leanin' back is really comfortable. And she's a beast. At 950 pounds, she weighs more than the helicopter I fly.
