I JUST PICKED UP A COPY OF MOTORCYCLE CRUISER MAGAZINE - DECEMBER 06 EDITION. ON PAGE 16 IS A VENTRO V-THUNDER XL (250CC). FOR A SMALL BIKE, IT LOOKS BIG IN THE PICTURE. NOTE - WHY DO WE HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM TRYING TO PUT EXTRA LIGHTS ON OUR BIKE? LOOK AT THE RUNNING LIGHTS ON THE VENTRO AND THE EXHAUSTS, ENGINE GUARD, FENDERS. SHARP LOOKING. I WONDER WHAT TYPE OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEM THE MANUFACTURES PUT ON THIS BIKE. SOMETHING TO LOOK AT. (www.VENTO.COM)

That's a good looking bike. It looks bigger than a 250. I don't know anything about the electrical system.

well it just looks bigger cause they hid the engine under all that chrome! as far as electrical, maybe they used a real alternator or something, i dunno

LMAO !!!
Did anyone happen to notice what kind of brakes it has ??
DISCO !! Front & rear.

A 2 cylinder 250. If the 'Running Diameter" is the piston size, they're just a hair over 2" Dia.
And a seat heigth of 27" ??
It must be made more for kids of bike owners.

Or just short people. There's a guy in my office who rides a little 1 cyl put-put. He just can't sit on anything bigger. On my bike he's on his tippy toes....

Check the specs---90.9" in length and 27.8" at the seat/52.8" overall height---That's a big bike!
I want to know what the hell are disco brakes?!?!?
The wife really likes it, thinks it looks nice.

comeon!!! ya'll dont remember disco brakes from the 70's. instead of just normal squeeks when you stop, they were designed to squeek the tune of 'do the hustle'! really quite hallarious as they lost some very important breaking power though cause the rider would start dancing on the bike, hence why they are no longer around...

also would like to add the spedo goes to 100.... looks like theirs may be off by 20%+ lol, oh and this one is good. it has an electronic start..... with and engine that size, i would rather save the weight of a battery and starter and push start it. oh and this is cool, it is 375 dry. meaning that it is 400 wet...... there are sports bikes that weight that much in the 750 class lol!!!!
