About two months ago i had to replace the stator and r/r, and while I was in there did the pickup coil clearance mod; BTW thanks to all for all the tips and walkthroughs. So now, its not charging again. The r/r failed the resistance tests, so I just ordered another one. I see where people are having to do multiple stator replacements, but is it common for the r/r to go out so quickly?

If the R/R is mounted in the stock location, they do go out quickly as they get hot.

What R/R did you order?

I definitely suggest a MOSFET type unit. They are a notable upgrade!

could be a faulty connection on the r/r or just a faulty r/r what brand stator and r/r did you use
