Is there anyway to regear these driveshaft driven bikes looking to get a lower rpm at crusing speed

Nope, but high revs on the highway are just fine on the engine. I've gone hours on end at 70 mph and 5k rpm with no issues, the bike is designed for it.

Only option is to upsize the tire a bit, but that's a very minimal improvement in highway gearing

X2, what he said, it loves to rev.

Cheaper, easier to get a different bike if you want change.

Throw in some Seafoam and give it the ol' Italian tune-up while your cruising at those speeds. ;)
So being one of those who’s last name ends in a vowel, I have to ask when in comes to bikes what exactly is the “ol’ Italian tune-up”?
I may (or may not) have given some “tune-ups” in the past but there was never a bike involved

It involves a lug wrench and usually ends up being a pretty messy job. Gloves recommended.
