Does anyone have any tips/pointers for head removal and installation?

it's pretty straightforward as long as you don't mix up your intake and exhaust valves. And camshafts. LOL I use resealable sandwich bags and mark the bag for each valve (and associated parts) as I pull it (intake right side, intake left side, etc.). After you've lapped the valves you'll still need to clean off the cylinder head, so I put the pristine parts in a new, freshly labeled sandwich bag until I'm ready to reassemble the head.

Also, if you don't have a Clymer's manual, see if you can get one. The instructions in there for cyl head removal are very good and very clear. :smiley_th

Yeah, I have a Clymer's manual I just wanted to make sure there weren't any tricks they left out.
