I want to replace my rear shocks to something stiffer and alot nicer looking. I have a 95 and the shocks are kinda ratty looking chrome no where near saving and surface rust on them. My question is what exacty am I looking for what is the stock length? I am 6'2" so wouldnt mind if it was a little higher than stock. finding used Harley parts is pretty easy and cheap around here in WI is there something off of a Harley that would fit?

Standard length is 12.5 inches, bolt hole to bolt hole.
As for other specs, or if any Hardley ones will work, I don't know right now.
Alot of people have wanted to go shorter, but not many have gone taller.

Well I am going to give these a try. Couldnt pass it up for $28 + shipping. Let you guys know if it works or not. Harley Davidson Road King rear shocks (Showa) Measurements are from eye to eye 12 1/2" total length is 14".

Definitely want to hear how those work out. The Kawasaki shocks are like $450.
