I tend to doubt that they can be "fixed". Mine are the same way. Essentially its turned into a hardtail so during the upcoming off season I'll be switching out for some Progressives. Not cheap but I'm tired of feeling every pebble I run over.
If you want to go less-expensive than new Progressives there are all sorts of stock shocks on e-bay but I couldn't necessarily vouch for their condition.
That's about what I thought. Luckily I hit on a major deal today, 2 partial but mostly complete '94 750s a recent widow wanted out of her she shed. And both have shocks! Here's hoping they're still good...
