What up everyone!! Hopefully someone can help me out.
I’m trying to run a generic speedo into the ignition switch (need to get power to it when I turn the key). Which wire do I splice into??

Brown wires to tachometer and fuel gauge are hot when the key turns in the ignition. The blue/red striped wire from the old speedometer wiring is hot once the engine is running (or when the key is turned in the ignition, if you've done the blue wire mod).

I have not done the blue wire mod.

So what you are saying is if I connect my new speedo to the brown wire, I will get power when I turn the key. Yes?

Double-check with a voltmeter first, but yes.
