Ok my bike has been running very rough as of this past week and when looking for possible reasons why I noticed something odd. On the rear cylinder, right side when sitting on the bike, the plug is sending sparks out. I know it is supposed to spark on starting but this is a continuous sparking and you can hear the little clicks it makes. What could be causing that? None of the other plugs seem to be sending out any sparks. Is it a bad plug, bad wire, or something else? I am at a loss. Thanks!!

probably either a bad wire or caps. Where is the spark arcing from? I had the same problem when I got the bike and replaced the wires and caps. Took care of the problem. And no you should not be able to see a spark even on start up. The spark needs to span the gap on the plug. If you see a spark, replace those wires

I'd pull the wire and just see where the arc is coming from. You should definitely replace the wires if that's the source o' the trouble, but might as well test that out. If you find a crack or split, hit it with electrical tape and see if that takes care of the problem. And, yes, your engine will run very rough if the spark isn't making it to the combustion chamber!

Damb! That's the exact same one that goofed on my bike. I found no breaks or cracks, but the rubber looked very old, like 16 years old. Electrical tape was a temp fix. I'd change your wires!
