:hitanykeyThis is my 95 model vn750

Things ive done:

new stator- went out a month after i got it
new regulator
new battery
new plugs
30 inch drag bar on 2 inch risers- custom built by me (2hrs)
modified the orginal seat myself (2hrs)
degoated and straight pipes- loud and proud
new 4 inch round tail light
removed the center stand for a cleaner look
removed rear pasenger pegs
removed taillight and license plate to make room for new taillight
mounted safe box and license plate on rear swing arm
new mirrors- but i dont like them
custom bullet fairing- not on in pics

Things im planning to do:
earshave
coastering
bobbing the tail
new body paint
engine paint
riding the hell out of it

Good looking bike. Nice work you have done so far.
Good luck with the rest of the mods you have in mind.

Looks good. I took off my front fender not long ago cuz I thought it looked good. One ride home from work in the rain and it went right back on!

what did you have to do in order for the straight pipes, did you rejet and if so what did you put in (im looking to do the same thing)

I would like to see how you have attached the seat. I want to do something similar. Did removing the grab rails cause the fender to be unstable?

Joem I dont mean to chime in unwanted but if you remove the grab bars you can still bolt the fender in place with the same bolt it just tightens more. As for the seat I just shaved the extra foam off mine cut the back off attached a little braket with rivets re wrapped and welded some nuts into the frame tubes. The two bolts go through the bracket and into the nuts. And Tod For straight pipes you should rejet at least the mains. At sea level going to straight pipes from stock you would need a 138 main (basically two steps up from stock) also I had to run an eye bolt in my left side pipe because it is so short I wanted to even the back-pressure a little.
