I've got a new seat cover. Before I put it on I wondered if anyone had suggestions for changing the foam padding for more comfort. I really get pain in my coxyx (tailbone).

Look up seat mods in the forum and you will find a lot of things you can do to the seats, to make them more comfortable. Jell pads is one of the big things to do. You can remove some of the foam from the seat with an electric knife and a sanding disc. You shape it more like a tractor seat, make it more concave. I did this and it sure made a difference.

I also got a Air Hawk seat pad for long rides, I haven't used it on the Nomad yet but the 750 I could do 500 miles in a day with it.

I did the Spencer modified seat thing. It was great for a while, but now needs an "adjustment", something apparently a small percentage of his mods require after break in. I plan on taking him up on getting it done... just not right now.

Bottom line is... I highly recommend his work. Plus, he's a nice guy and fair.
