I've been riding my bike for a couple weeks now and what started as a small oil leak has turned into a leak leaving a pretty good puddle on the ground. The wind is blowing it all over both sides of the block and the frame.

I've pretty much found it coming from the front cylinder between it and the radiator. Below is a pic, by the looks of it its coming from where the crankcase breather hose hooks up. Any ideas on the cause of this or am I missing something?

Yeah its not the hose. After going back through several posts, it was the spark plug wells having bad o-rings that caused the leak.

But now after getting everything back together, the bike will instantly die the second I try to engage the clutch in any of the gears. The bike was low on oil so I added in 2 quarts (thats how low it was).

Did you check that the kickstand wasn't down, or that the kickstand detection switch (i forget the proper name) isn't sticking?

Yeah I had read another post shortly after my previous post, which gave me the idea of the side stand switch being stuck. Turned out that was the problem. Was trying to straighten that bracket out that its mounted on (previous owner dropped) and the switch became somewhat jammed.

All problems (for now) are fixed. Now I can make it to work tomorrow lol. Thanks guys.

Did you check that the kickstand wasn't down, or that the kickstand detection switch (i forget the proper name) isn't sticking?
I usually refer to it as the sidestand safety switch. :)

The probability of failure (and to get rid of needless complication) is why I removed both the sidestand and clutch safety switches.
