Summer is coming on in Sacramento. *Hot!*
I burned up a stator on a new 750 last summer. Cruising on the freeway is so hot that the fan comes on even at 60mph. That drops the coolant temp, but the fan adds current drain. All that does is add more heat to the stator that's already in a hot oil bath.
I want to cool the oil. That would reduce the engine heat as well as help save my stator.
But I can't find an oil cooler adaptor to fit under the oil filter. Nor do I know how to rig up a bypass oil line to create my own cooler.

Does anybody know anything about this?
