Hey everyone, I just picked up a 96 Vulcan 750 an done some work on it. I just installed brand new carbs OEM, and the bike is running great now. My question is do I need to sync the carbs?

I would if I were you. You might be able to borrow a sync kit from a local shop (Autozone, Advance Auto etc). The tricky part is the adjustment screw requires wide open throttle to adjust! So I ran mine and noted the imbalance, shut it off and adjusted the screw, then started to check it again. It took about 4 tries to get it right.

You can remove the vacuum hose on the right carb. The left one needs vacuum on the petcock so you'll need a T fitting.

Myself, I just make sure the butterflies are opening together, at the same moment when you first open the throttle.
