Bought an '85 VN700 last month that the previous owner started bobbing and then gave up. He did an ear shave and re-jet of the carbs, but only re-connected one of the throttle cables. He also threw on some Z bars, but didn't keep the original throttle grip. Couple questions:
1) the second throttle cable isn't necessary, right?
2) Having to start from scratch, could I use an HD setup for the throttle?
3) The choke is on the clutch side, does it need to be re-attached with the ear shave done?
