Im looking to purchase a new shock as mine is in need of replacing, has anybody heard of the YSS units? are they any good I have heard some good reviews on them.

Please give us a little information about yourself under the Newbie Check-In heading telling us where you are located and your riding/wrenching experience so we know something about you. Information flows much better and faster when the forum knows something about the person asking for information. We don't want you to be a total stranger.
