I have been experiencing a problem with my 93 VN750. I began to experience idle speeds around 1000 RPM when coming up to stop lights. If I had to sit for any length of time, I had to keep the idle going. Thinking it was the ignition coil acting up on the front cylinder, I replaced the it. After seeing gas on the plugs, I thought they weren't getting spark. Things ran good for 2 days and the low idle is back, along with gas on the plugs (new ones). I checked the plug wires and they all run spark through them. Once I get going, the bike runs fine. Anybody got an idea what it could be?

Could be a stuck choke or float in just one carb. I'd run seafoam through it, and get some carb cleaner, spray it into the carb mouth while the bike is running....and don't let the bike die, so you will need to give it some gas.
Also, you could try the burping method. Just search for it and you will find a good explanation.
Good luck.
