I bought a nice Guardian bike cover but the size and weight of it make it impractical to carry around. I suppose I'll be selling at a loss some time in the future. :BLAM:

I'd like to carry a very light cover that I could carry in a saddlebag. The lighter the better. Doesn't have to be rain proof. I'm just trying to eliminate the coating of dust and pollen that collects on the bike during the day. It does need to have a lower material that won't get burned up by hot pipes.

I know by getting something light and thin that it won't last as long - but I'm willing to make that trade off.

Any suggestions on the right cover for me?

Thanks! Mark

What about something like THIS.

Looks like it would be enough for keeping the dust & stuff off, and certainly is light at only 11oz.
Although I'm not so sure about heat resistance.
