I know there's been a few post concerning license plate cracking at the mounting holes on 750s and there's been some fixes on how to
stop/repair the plate cracks, but I don't remember how. Will someone please refresh an old man's memory? Thanks.

Hey Mike
I had the same problem. I had to get a plate for my inspection sticker(which goes on behind the plate and cost $5). So now I have 4 bolts on the plate, which seem to have stopped the cracking. Hope this helps.

I used a piece of .042 aluminum, cut to size of course, and put it behind the plate. It works great.

I've just used those $5 chrome tag frames on mine, with all four bolts in place. I haven't had any cracking problems to the tag holder.
