My streak of luck continues.

Jumped on the freeway headed home Saturday, when I got her wound up it felt like my half helmet was going to lift off. On instinct, I reached up real quick to slap it down, hell I had the strap buckled. As I jerked my hand up, I clipped the mirror and knocked it right off the stem. Guess I was half lucky since it didn't hit any cars following me.

I was pretty sure the mirror shell was metal, nope, plastic. These were a set of Emgo mirrors I got off Ebay.

Legal to ride with one mirror in at least some states or not?
It sucks trying to ride this way, but I'd still like to ride until I can replace it. I see a lot of custom bikes with only one mirror.

Cool, that covers half my riding area, thanks Ruger.

Riding with just a left mirror is pretty much legal everywhere, but not a good idea. I have never crashed, but probably would have more than once without the right side mirror. I won't ride without one.

In Ga one is all you need, my giftter laid down the bike and the whole mounting hole is gone for the right side. Still looking for a way to make both sides match... not having much luck.
