Since my no spark issue I noticed a bad splice on the red wire to the igniter. Talking with David I think I want to put that wire on with the ignition coil mod. Thoughts on this? Also will it be fine running a 12g wire into the stock wire at the plug?

Alex, the best scenario would be two separate feeds. going to the ignition coil mod may be fine, the only way to be sure is try it. I ran a separate wire from the jb to the ignitor for the red wire power feed. I did not go through a relay, but added another fuse circuit to the jb switched power on. Mine works great, Going off the ignition coil relay mod would probly be better if the circuit can handle the current.

The red wire like you said was on the same circuit as the coils. There is also a third wire that was spliced and I think that goes to the ignition switch. I'm not following how you ran the igniter power wire to the jb.

I bought a fuse circuit add on from Avance. It plugs into one of the existing fuse sockets and holds two fuses, one for the origional circuit, and the other fuse feeds the add on circuit, it has a wire coming out of it that you run to the device you want to supply power to. I can post a pic if u like. keep in mind that way you are still relying on the ignition switch and harness to supply power, while going off the ignition coil mod relay just depends on the ignition switch and harness to power the relay, the actual power feed going to the coils is more pure as it just goes through the relay contacts then directly to the battery.
