If you have a autobody supply shop anywhere near, 3M make a product used to fasten emblems on vehicles. Auto manufacturers have been using it for decades. Kind of a sticky goo like tape. Could even be what Kawasaki used for the original emblems. I like the idea of making "coaster" covers with them.
