Don't know for sure where I got this info, but I think I read somewhere that the HP for the 700 Vulcan, which is what I own, is somewhere around 50. I think it may have been in a review of the Vulcan somewhere. Wish I could be more specific.
How in the manual do they state it is the same? I find it difficult to believe that there is no loss when you drop 50 cc? My manual doesnt ever acknowledge the 700 that I can find other than an occasional mention.

would be cool if you were right, but it is hard for me to accept that, when stroke is the same, compression is the same, and carbs are the same, then something must be lost, unless, it really is a 750, and they just cal it a 700?
and stamp the side as such.
