I'm new and learning how to post pics. I removed the factory bolts holding the grab rail. Next I tapped the holes to ASE 5/16 to accept longer standard thread bolts. I then cut some spacers to offset the brackets. I used a metal brake to bend a rest place for the bags to sit on. I bolted the bag to the bracket with a 5/16 X 1 inch bolt. I used 5/16 x 3 1/2 inch bolts to fasten the bracket to the grab rail factory holes. I put a 3x3 inch plate with a 5/16 hole in the center inside the bag to serve as a washer with a large surface area. It was a design on the go, a lot of trial and error. I could have just bought some brackets but the ones I saw didn't look right. See the rest of the pics in the gallery. Let me kno what you think.
