this tool idea gives me lots of ideas... a lot of you guys have been wondering how to clean the engine... I think this should do the trick nicely... after spraying the engine down with soda, head down to the car wash to wash off all the soda...

I've been using baking soda blasting to prep some Goldwing parts for painting. O buy the big bags of baking soda at Sam's club and use a couple of different air tools for the soda.
First is a feeder tube nozzle that has pretty much the same set up as the one in the post.
The second is a hopper gun that holds the soda in a container above the nozzle.
Both available ay Harbor Freight or Home Depot for about $12-15

One note about baking soda blasting.. it will not remove rust (check the last photo of the carbs.. screws still rusty). Other then that it is great and clean up is just a hose down away!
