I just found these online:

I really like the price, and I have installed HIDs on both of my cars, so I know what I'm in for, but I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the brand.

If there's any other information about HIDs + VN750s that I should know, feel free to let me know, but from what I understand the 35w that is required is less demanding than the stock halogen already in the bike.

I've been running a HID since last year. I just last night changed the lense & housing to a modern reflection style. I haven't got to test it in the dark yet as I had to moddify the mount ring. I will say the hid in the stock lense really scatters the light.

You guys want/need more headlight than I have stock? Now that my headlight is right, I seem to bother oncoming traffic some. Adjusted correctly.

Remember, HID conversions are illegal, and will blind oncoming drivers, which just might cause them to move over a little to close to you. The standard halogen bulb makes plenty of light for me, even on the darkest nights in the middle of nowhere.

standard equipment, yes, legal, with all the proper reflectors and lenses.

aftermarket replacements for halogen.. not so much. kinda borderline, most dont work well in the halogen housings and lenses.

Ok, so I got the light mounted since the apoxy dried.
You've got to modify to make the lense I used fit.
But the good news is the light pattern is much more directed & not nearly as scattered.
Still haven't been on the roAd riding as my mash is dismantled changing the lights & I'm waiting on them to come in.

HID's inserted into a housing for a halogen bulb are illegal in most if not all states, the light gets scattered and instead of making a beam that illuminates the road you get this glare producing mass of light that blinds oncoming drivers / riders.

I am highly oppsed to HID's unless a. your lens housing is designed of it as to reduce glare. b. you have a mode for low beam halogen then when you switch to high beam you get hid output, this way you can run those HID's in the middle of nowhere but can switch when you see a car coming.

Unfortunately the charging system on the 750 is insufficent, I have put a 80/100W bulb on my vn800, with a relay driving the highbeam power (with a thicker wire for less voltage drop) and it is plenty bright. 80/100 is also illegal but it does not scatter light all over the universe the way an hid will.

As WM said, aiming is very important in getting the light to produce light in the right area.

Also if you want more light and is totally legal, you can run a ticker wire to a relay then the relay to the bulb for high or low beam (I suggest high beam), the reason for the thicker wire will be to reduce voltage drop in the wire, light output is reduced substantially, I think almost parabolically with voltage level.

exactly merc.

its been shown that most headlights (auto or cycle) drop as much as 20% of their output with as little as 1 volt drop in the voltage at the pins of the bulb.

Heavier wire will not hurt anything, as well as using relays to supply power if the headlight power runs thru ignition switch. Using a relay may require more mods to get any other electronic modules to work properly (headlight monitors and such)
