i noticed the other day when i rode thru the little curb into my driveway that my head bearing area (where the triple tee connects to the frame) made a noise like it was somewhat loose.
i don't near it under normal riding.
just wondering how much noise is acceptable, and if i might need to replace the bearings, or maybe just tighten something up.

It doesn't hurt to make sure things are tight up there, always a good idea. Some front tires make a weird noise when you roll through a curve. If things are tight, I'd imagine your tire is just talking to you.

I`d probably try to check the head bearing tightness by getting some one to sit on the bike and lean back, while it is up on the centerstand. Have the helper hold the handlebars straight while you grab the fork tubes down low with the tire off the ground, and pull forward and back watching and feeling for any movement or slack in the head.
