I can't vouch for the Clymer VN750 manual, but other Clymer manuals I've used are inaccurate or give bad info. If it had softer paper, Clymer manuals would make suitable toilet paper, which is about all it's good for IMO.
Get a Kawasaki manual and see what it says on the subject. There's a link to a free one in some member's (Spockster?) signature.
