Hello, maybe you guys and gals in here can help me with this. I bought a set of 7/8 grips from the dealer here because he told me that they would fit. Well, the left grip fits fine, but the throttle grip does not even come close. It has these little plastic bars that prevents installation on the end of the twist grip and near the inside. Will they work with some engineering, or do I have the wrong grips? The grips are the PG0862 ProGrips. Gel with chrome ends. I'm at a loss.

The plastic bars have to be cut off. I used a hacksaw, some used a file, others a knife.... you pick what works best for you.

The raised plasitc "bars" only work with the stock throttle grip.

I'll get the file or the dremel tool out tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. I just didn't want to fiddle with it that much. I really like the grips, so I'll get them on there. Have a nice weekend.

DONE. The Dremel tool worked wonders with a small sanding barrel. Used golf grip tape adhesive to get the grips to slide on and adhere to the bars. Was a snap. Thanks for the tip.
