I am in the process of rebuilding the carbs on my 85 VN700.
I will be replacing the fuel lines with filters, but my question is:
One of the 90 degree elbows going into the carb is cracked. Is that plasic on the outside of the elbow, and is it aluminum underneath the plastic?
Where can I get the parts for the carbs?
I plan on doing an earshave, and I believe that the altitude here is roughly 3200 feet and I plan on riding around 5500 to 6500 feet. Will the 142 jets work? Or will I need to go a little higher.
Thanks for the help all.

As far as I know you can't get a replacement. I had bought carbs with the same crack and demanded my money back from an ebay seller.
