Not sure it's the best way, but the way I've done it is find a sturdy object like a cement wall or something. Loosen your fork clamps just a bit and then steer the handlebars so that you're prying against the front wheel. Of course you can't loosen those bolts too much or the forks will shove right up through the clamps. Probably would only loosen either the top clamps or bottoms--something like that. . . .
Loosen the botton clamps, and if it's tweaked more than a little, I'd loosen the clamps on the front wheel attached to the axle, just to make sure there is no tension. Jerk the bike up and down so that the forks line up, then pry a little, jerk it a bit more until you're satisfied.
Don't forget to torque the bolts down to manufacturer specs!
