I would recommend that you at least look at it as it might provide some guidance in your spring replacement. Keep in mind that you will need to either cut the spacer in the tube or make a new one if you don't want to cut the ones you have. PVC works for a new spacer quite well. I don't remember the exact length, but something tells me that 7-1/4" is about right.
I have Progressive springs and I use whatever the Kaw shop recommended. You might want to examine your seals and decide if you want to replace them while you are taking the front end of the bike apart. It would save you some time later down the road.
